One of Enugu's most highly acclaimed restaurants, the Dining Room is the domain of the best chef in town.



His traditional African creations (with European regional overtones) are magical, drawing the maximum of flavor from the very freshest of ingredients.



Richcrest refined cuisine is a gem in a worthy setting. The Dining Room's  walls are hung with a museum-quality collection of gilt-framed African hunt paintings.

Diners sink into comfortable silk-upholstered armchairs and banquettes at elegantly appointed tables adorned with stunning arrangements of Hawaiian flowers-tropically hued orchids, birds of paradise, and anthurium.

Shaded table lamps provide soft lighting, and background music is classical. Service is impeccable ("The waiters, the wine steward, all move in a well- orchestrated dance," raved one reviewer).



Menus change daily. On a recent visit, I began with delicately cubed tuna African Salad with Nkwobi and a bottle of Softdrink .
